Google Forms is one of the simplest and useful GAFE products for both students and teachers.
Teachers can select from any of the available templates to quickly create Worksheets, Exit Tickets, Quizzes (the multiple choice/check box questions can now even self grade) and Contact Forms.
Once responses are collected you can easily view them in Forms or in a Google Spreadsheet. All results are stored in your Google Drive until you delete them.
If you are worried about cheating, fear not: you have the ability to scramble question order, scramble answer order, and even set a verified password before the quiz/assignment begins. You can also turn the form off/stop collecting answers if you need to.
For a thorough introduction on Forms check out the video below.
I have become a huge fan of using Forms for quick quizzes in my classes however I am not a fan of retyping quiz questions I already have created.
Luckily Google Forms makes Copying & Pasting from MS Word, Google Docs and other text documents super easy. Just make sure your MC answers are typed one below the other like this (bullets are not necessary):
Choice A
Choice B
Choice C
Copy them all at once and paste them into the first option in your MC answer section of your Google Form. They will all copy on their own line.
