Help students sign up/renew for their GSuite accounts using the following steps:
Students go to www.sd61.bc.ca
Go to Resources Tab
Select Student Accounts
Select Student G Suite Account on Left Menu
Scroll down to Consent: Secondary Students
Note: Students need to grant consent prior to getting username and password
Select Student Connect. Students enter their Student Number and Password (same one they use to login to the school computers and wifi)
If students cannot login for any reason, staff can use Tools for Schools to Reset the student's password
In Student Connect, set GoogleWorkplace for Education.
Read through consent info and scroll to bottom. Select Green Button to "Grant Consent" to use G-Suite Products in school.
G-Suite username and password and will immediately display their login information. Have them record this somewhere!
Format is always:
student number
@ sd61learn.ca
Example: 555555@sd61learn.ca
It may take up to 2 Hours for the account to be active (but usually only 5 min.)
The default password for all NEW accounts is _________ - they will be prompted to change this on first login.
If a student has forgotten their Google account password they can reset it here.

Sign up for your Google account using the following steps:
Go to www.sd61.bc.ca
Go to Staff and Support Portal
Scroll Down to Staff Google Account
Select Request an Account
Enter your district Login and Password (the same one you use to login to the school computers and wifi)
Your name should show up on the bottom of the page in a statement indicating more information has been sent to your Outlook District Email
Open your district email for your login information and the default password.
Your account may take up to 2 Hours for the account to be active
Once the GSuite account is set up you will have access to Google Drive, Google Classroom and all other Google Apps.
If you need to reset your password follow steps 1-3 and select Change my Password
