This page is a collection of examples of how remote learning could look like from our elementary LLC's. Every school has different guidelines and expectations and these examples are intended only to provoke thoughts and ideas and possibly expand on your own interests. If you have created something that you would like to share or come across any ideas that you have found useful please connect with Metthea to have them added here.
This Narwhal example is one from Ontario in the Peel School District. Tina Zita and Melanie Mulcaster has generously provided templates for you to copy for the ease of creating your own. The link for these are here.
There is also a shared collaboration page on the site where you can submit your examples. If interested she has some great examples embedded throughout her library website, check out the Materials page. Here is a helpful video on how you can go about creating your own.
Online professional development has taken on a new meaning in recent times; below are some options you may feel could support your own learning or those of your colleagues.
Google Certification
As always Google Certification is free for educators and completely online. The certification process is updated every two years and could be something you are interested in if time opens up for you.
Follett Destiny
Follett Webinars are kicking off the month with relevant opportunities around remote learning and how librarians can support teachers and students. Library consultant Shannon McClintock Miller, who is a wealth of information, is leading quite a few of them.
