Find a space that can be dedicated to studying and remove any distractions from it
Schedule some time each day to review subjects
Take short (15 min) breaks when studying to let your brain take a break
Reword or summarize important topics rather than just reading your notes
Find a group of friends to study with
If you can, begin studying for a test a couple of days before it happens
