What are they?

Chromebooks are internet based laptops. They run on the Chrome Operating System (Chrome 0S). Anything that you did in your chrome web browser on your Mac, you can do on the chromebooks!

Applications???

Chromebooks do not allow software to be downloaded. They use apps that are all cloud based and are found in the Chrome Web Store and the Google Play Store.

Extensions???

An extension is a small software application that adds a capacity or functionality to a web browser.

Where do my downloads go???

The downloads go to the file application. Open the files application and click on downloads on the left hand side. You can also access your audio files, images, videos, and Google Drive files through the files application. (See picture below)
