This criteria may include:
General maintenance of excellent program(s).
Leadership and committee work in all phases of Forensics in Montana (MFEA).
COACH OF THE YEAR Award during the tenure of coaching forensics or drama.
General contribution to all phases of education in Montana.
The honoree must be retired from coaching for at least five consecutive competitive coaching seasons. This criterion is waived for all current coaches who have coached for more than twenty years.
This criteria must include:
Overall competency as a director
Desire to aid and assist others in the field
Sportsmanship
Overall leadership
Work and efforts on behalf of Montana Forensic Educators Association
This criteria must include:
Has the school Forensic program improved under his/her direction?
Does the program have a broad base with competitors in all areas?
How well do his/her students perform? Preference should be given to outstanding achievements (i.e. state championships) at the STATE TOURNAMENTS.
Do his/her students conduct themselves with courtesy and sportsmanship while in competition?
