QUIET CADIE WILLIAMS
FINDS HER GROOVE

Returning All State Soccer Forward, Cadie Williams has starred for the Wolfpack soccer program for four seasons and has especially made her mark this season. Although the season has just begun, Cadie has recorded an amazing 9 goals. Many soccer players would be happy with 9 goals for a season or even a career. However, with the speed and youth of the Wolfpack offense, it appears that there will be more goals on the horizon. Girls Basketball Coach, Bill Sullivan, said, “Cadie is amazing on how she can position her small body against much larger and physical players and ultimately score!”

In the past month, Cadie has also verbally committed to go and play soccer for Division II MSU Billings. The Yellowjackets are members of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Cadie had a number of options ranging from Carroll College and a number out state colleges. Coach Brenden Byrd believes that whoever was lucky enough to get Cadie, they would be getting a gem because she is so skilled. She has also been selfless in her play for the Pack moving from Forward to Midfielder depending upon the needs of the team.

Cadie is one of few 3-sport athletes at Glacier. She has been instrumental in the success of the girls’ basketball team where Cadie plays guard for the Pack. Her quickness and tenacity are easily seen. In the spring, Cadie splits time between travel soccer and running sprints for the track team while carrying an A average in all of her classes. If you have not observed Cadie’s prowess on the soccer field, please take an opportunity to come and watch one of Glacier’s best!
