Construction of the new artificial turf and track venues began Tuesday, June 27^th under the direction of Todd Smith from Academy Sports from Denver, CO. The turf has been ordered from Shaw and should arrive within 30 days. The timeline for the construction project has been tightened and work crews are working feverishly to meet the August 11^th deadline. The new turf will provide a much-needed consistent surface for student competitions during the months of October and November.

The project will conclude a 15-year renovation process of Legends Stadium, and provides a safer competitive venue for not only football games on a regular basis, but soccer contests as well: 3 of our 7 home soccer contests are scheduled to be played at Legends, including both crosstown matches. Coaches and players look forward to playing on the surface this season that will be used in all AA cities with the exception of Helena and Bozeman. Turf installation in Bozeman will be coming in the near future with the passing of their new high school bond.
