GILMAN'S LEGACY LIVES ON WITH THE PACK

The Wolfpack brought home its first boys basketball state championship this past March under some great play and leadership from senior All-State Tournament team member Tadan Gilman. Bringing home a state basketball championship had not been done in Kalispell since 1989 (28 years ago) when Tadan’s dad, Mark, helped Flathead bring home their last state basketball championship. Tadan displayed admirable poise and persistence during some of the most challenging moments of the state championship game by canning buckets and displaying a fierce, yet confident fire. He undoubtedly learned many lessons in competition from his dad who was an ultra-successful high school and collegiate athlete. At the University of Nebraska, Mark was a guiding force in leading the Huskers to two national football championships under legendary head coach Tom Osborne. The Montana State Bobcats believe that Tadan will help propel them to greater heights of competition as he steps onto the gridiron to play linebacker for the Cats.
