What information will convince you that your chosen strategies to improve learning as a foundation and learning as a process are working?

• Future empathy interviews and focus groups with students will demonstrate that they can articulate with evidence what the core competencies 'look like' in practice (Think Critically, Collaborate, Contribute, Create and Innovate)

• Improved results in planning based on goals

• Improved results over time in the areas of preparedness and relevance

• Continued improvement of sense of belonging data

How will you triangulate this collection of evidence to check for understanding? (Provincial? District? School? Classroom?)

• YDI, Ministry Satisfaction, and Our School Survey results from year to year

• We ask students specifically about the impact of self-reflection on their learning.

• Common language, frameworks, and tools developed within the school and pulled from existing resources

SSA

How will you disaggregate important pieces to track information more deeply and for specific groups?

We do not yet know the format of how this information will be reported. We do have many levels of internal and external adult-support that track SSA students, including input from: P/VP & Teachers, Youth Care Worker, Counsellor, Vancouver Coastal Health, CYMH, Sea to Sky Community Services, Foundry, BC Crisis Centre, BC Children's Hospital, School Psychologist, POPARD Consultants (Behaviour Intervention), Squamish Nation Outreach Support Worker, Ays Mun Mun Family Services Support workers and MCFD Social Workers.
