About Us

This is our inaugural Bark in the Dark Madison Glow Run hosted by the MAD Dads & Madison PTA. Our event was created with the goal of raising funds for our school as well as coming together as a school community around exercise and fun. 

All funds raised from this event will be used to improve our school. This year, our goal is to raise $10,000 to purchase new basketball hoops for our blacktop as well as improving some areas of our playground. Funds will also be given back to teachers to make purchases for their classroom and students. 

Our "Glow Run" is intended for students, but family members can partake in the run/walk with their student if they would like. A parent/guardian must be present at the event to supervise their student. We will have course marshals (MAD Dad volunteers) that will help direct the students on the course and assist in case of an emergency. Our course runs through our Madison fields as well as sidewalks on both Madison & Green Valley. Strollers are not recommended on the course and no animals are allowed on campus during the event. 

Our event will have both a pre and post party located on the Madison blacktop near our playground and will include a DJ where our students and families can hang out, mingle, dance and play on the playground.
