Teams are now posted!!!

Schedules will be posted this weekend.

Games start on September 5.

Format:

There are four leagues: 8th grade boys, 7th grade boys, 6th grade boys, and girls.

Teams will play a series of league games. Standings will be kept during the season. At the end of the season there will be a tournament. Seeding for the tournament will be determined by the league standings. A champion will be crowned following the tournament.

League games will be within the grade level leagues with the exception of some cross-league games between 7th and 8th grade boys. Those games WILL count towards the standings.

Games will be 4 vs 4 half court. You will need to ref your own games! A teacher supervisor will be assigned to each court. He/she is not there to ref, but to supervise.

There will be no arguing, questioning the refs, or talking back to supervisors. Students who do will be warned. If it continues they will be removed from intramurals and not able to return.

There will not be any free throws. A foul will result in one point and the ball. Each basket will be worth two points. There are no three point shots.

The Championship Games will be full court and have referees.

Players are expected to be in the designated gym, dressed, and seated with their team by 3:00 pm. Students will be finished playing and ready to be picked up at 3:50.  All students need to be picked up by 4:00 or should take the activity bus home.  Students who are not picked up by 4:00 will receive a verbal reminder to have their rides there by 4. If a member of intramurals continues to be at school past 4:00 they will either be required to take the activity bus home or will no longer be able to participate in the intramural program.

Want to Sign Up?

All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to play! All grade levels too!

Sign up as an individual, with a friend(s), or sign up a whole team!

Three things need to be done to be completely registered:

The Google Form is submitted on line, but the permission slip and fee need to be brought to school. They can be given to your 1st hour teacher, dropped off in the office, or given directly to Mrs. Barnhart in room 1814.

IF YOU WANT TO SIGN UP AS AN INDIVIDUAL or are in 6th grade  you can indicate that on the Google Form. There is also a spot to indicate a friend or a couple of friends who you'd like to play with. I will try by best to put you on a team with your friend(s).

IF YOU WANT TO SIGN UP AS A TEAM:  Before you fill out the Google Form you'll need to figure out who is on your team (5 or 6 people). Then, choose a team name. All individuals on the team need to fill out their own form and EVERYONE NEEDS TO PUT THE SAME TEAM NAME!!!
