  Lion King Field Trip to Chicago!!!  (8th Grade ONLY)

  Veteran's Day Performance (8th Grade Band ONLY)

  ILMEA District IX JHS  Honor Band & Choir Festival (audition only) @ West Aurora High School. Participation in this festival is based on an audition.  Concert dress is mandatory.

• Saturday, March 7:  time TBA: Fine Arts Fest/Assessment. Schedule TBA at Traughber JHS. This is a choir, band, and art festival that includes all five junior highs in our district! This is a required concert for ALL band and choir students. Concert dress is mandatory.
  
  

April:

• April 8:
  ELEMENTARY CHOIR FESTIVAL @ TH Gym. This is a required performance for 6th grade choir only. Jazz Band performs for the 6th Graders in the cafeteria.
  
  

• Saturday, April 18:
  ILMEA Jazz Band Festival
  
  

• Friday/Saturday, April 18:
  Prairie State Band Festival - 7th Band Grade Band only @ Plainfield East High School.  Call Time and Load Busses at Thompson 9AM, Concert at the Plainfield East Auditorium at 11AM. Students dismissed at 12PM. No Return Busses, students will ride home with families after the concert. Let us know if you need help organizing car pools.

  Great America Band & Choir Competition Rehearsal  (required for all participating students 7th & 8th)

  Great America Band & Choir Competition/Trip  (optional 7th & 8th)
  
  

• Wednesday May, 13 6PM:
  FINAL BAND CONCERT @ Thompson Gym. This is a required concert for all bands. Concert dress is mandatory.
