Oswego East Crowns 1st State Champion in Track and Field!
Ariel Michalek raced to her first State Championship in track and field by capturing the 3200 meter run! Michalek's kick propelled her down the final straightaway, passing both Christina Gastfield and Jessica Ackerman in the final few meters. Her championship time of 10:47.32 set a new school record at Oswego East.

Ariel Michalek Breaks 5-minute Barrier in 1600 Meter Run!
Ariel Michalek broke the legendary 5:00 mark in Friday's 1600 meter preliminary heat. Michalek recorded a personal best of 4:59.01 and qualified for finals in the event for the second year in a row.

Michalek Qualifies for Both Distance Events!
Ariel Michalek will be the lone representative for the Oswego East Wolves next weekend in Charleston, Illinois. Michalek qualified for both distance races by placing second in the 1600 meter run and winning the 3200 meter run.
