This was one of the first gut spreads I designed for our yearbook while working with Aubrey's group. With the group, I helped them pick out the dominant photo of a pitcher that I thought would be a nice cutout that could interact with a gradient bar, copy and the photo package. We chose two shades of green with the main copy having a hint of red to contrast with our school color of red on the uniforms. I included two separate photo packages on the left side as more photos to tell softball's story. The other mods on the spread were separated by two rails and I used color, gradients and transparent bars for emphasis. I also included two all-coverage devices more layers of coverage.
