Meet Your Teacher

Hello Kindergarten Families!

My name is Staci Harmon, and I'm thrilled to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. I've spent the last 10 years working with kindergarteners, and the past 6 of those years have been right here at Greensferry Elementary. I hold a teaching certificate in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho, with a specialized endorsement in literacy.

Working with children has always been my passion. In addition to teaching, I have a long history of coaching middle school athletics and various Parks and Recreation teams.

When I'm not in the classroom, I'm spending time with my own two daughters. My eldest, Keely, is in her first year of college, and my youngest, Faith, is a sophomore in high school. With them involved in running, dance, music, and theater, I am often cheering them on at local events.

Our family also includes our pets: a beagle named Fudgie, two cats named Butterscotch and Lil Kitty Kitty, and our newest addition, a mixed-breed dog named Whittaker. My favorite way to relax is spending time with my family, either at home or on the water.
