Make a Difference

Volunteering at Greensferry- Families are encouraged to get involved at Greensferry.  Opportunities range from helping occasionally (i.e. class parties and field trips), regularly (tutoring and/or assessing children), or at evening events (i.e. book fairs and grade level events).   Contact your child's classroom teacher for classroom specific opportunities.  Families of students may use this link to sign up for school wide volunteering opportunities.

Parent Advisory- Based on spring 2025 parent survey results, we will shift our format for gathering parent input and sharing 'behind the scenes' school news.  Instead of parent advisory meetings throughout the school year, our principal and/or principal assistant will be readily accessible during each evening event and during parent pick up and drop off during the majority of our instructional days and easily accessible via Dojo messages and/or email throughout the school year.  Parents are encouraged to ask questions, make suggestions, and give feedback on periodic parent surveys.  Parent questions may be featured in our weekly school newsletter.

Other Ways to Show Support-Can't make it in but wish to show your support? Consider making a Teacher Wishlist donation or sign up to drop off coffee k-cups for the staff (we will post your name in the staff room).
