Idaho Esports League

LeagueOS

• Join LeagueOS and connect Discord and game accounts. Invite link found on your team’s Discord channel.

• Communication will be done through LeagueOS. Keep all communications school appropriate.

• Your GamerTag must match in LeagueOS and in-game. (Create a separate school-only account if this is an issue)

• LeagueOS will start tracking your in-game stats. This is still a work in progress.

Season

Dates: February 12th – April 14th (Bye week will be Spring Break (March 18th – 22nd)

Times:

• Valorant – Tuesdays @4:30pm

• SSBU – Wednesdays @4:30pm

• Rocket League – Wednesdays @4:30pm

• Apex Legends – Wednesdays @4:30pm

• Overwatch 2 – Thursdays @4:30pm

6 Season Games: Will determine tournament seeding. Always play to win, no gimmicks.

Leagues: Pacific and Mountain. Each based on time zone.

Tournaments

Divisional Round (April 15th – 26th):

• Top 4 teams from each division (Pacific/Mountain) go on to compete in state championship hosted at the BSU Esports Arena.

• Double elimination format

State Tournament (May 10th and 11th):

• Apex Legends (Afternoon)

***Students should only compete in one esports event a day to avoid conflicts will other games. Games will start on their scheduled time regardless if you are ready or not. You will not be allowed to join mid-game. If you start 1 man short, you will continue the rest of the game 1 man short.

Tournament Information:

Rocket League District Tournament

April 19th, 2022

First round games begin at 9:00 am, with each succeeding round of the bracket taking part at the top of each of the following hours. Lunch will be from 12 - 1:00 pm with rounds to start again at 1:00 pm. The championship slated to start at 3:00 pm that afternoon.

Smash Bros. District Tournament

April 19th, 2022

First round games begin at 9:15 am, with each succeeding round of the bracket taking part 15 minutes after the hour every hour. Lunch will be from 12 - 1:00 pm with rounds to start again at 1:15 pm. The championship slated to start at 3:15 pm that afternoon.

Valorant District Tournament

April 14th, 2022

We will be playing a preliminary round against Ririe this day at 4:00 pm. This will determine if we start the next week in the Losers Bracket or not.

April 21st, 2022

Each of the top 4 teams in each game will go to the state tournament hosted by Boise State.

IDAHO STATE ESPORTS TOURNAMENT

• BSU will be helping us host the Idaho State Esports Tournament on April 29th and 30th @ the BSU Esports Arena...301 S Capitol Blvd, Boise, ID 83702

• *Doc Haskell has sponsors that will help cover the cost of prizes, trophies, food, swag, etc.  

• **Andrew Wray will be working with some of the local hotels to see if we can get a better group rate on rooms for those teams traveling long distances and will need accomodations.

• ***EJ Valencia from the national guard is helping with publicity and promoting the event.
