Welcome to STEM 8! STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math 8. In particular, this course will count as credit for both Science 8 and Math 8, and cover all the prerequisites to be successful in Science 9 and Math 9 next year.
This is not an online course - this website contains the basic lesson notes and assignments for each unit of math and the core workbook from which we're learning science. Most other activities and lessons take place in the classroom. Not all pages of the science booklets are assigned; if you have any questions about what a student should be working on please contact me at cwsmith@sd22.bc.ca.
