Fall River Lineman College Scholarship- $2,400/year
Fall River Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce a NEW $2,400 yearly scholarship offered to members or children of members interested in a utility career as a lineman. This scholarship will be awarded to ONE person who plans to enroll in a lineman college.
The applicant or their parents or guardians must be members of Fall River Electric to qualify.

MECA - Montana Electric Cooperatives Association - $500
Open to Fall River Electric members to apply for (4 scholarships will be awarded) The scholarship value is $500.

Hamilton Relay, - $500
a Telecommunications Relay and Captioned Telephone service provider for Montana and Idaho, is offering a Scholarship opportunity to graduating high school seniors in Montana and Idaho who are deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf Blind or have difficulty speaking to assist in their goals of continuing their education.
Candidates are required to submit an application, write an essay under the topic of communication technology and provide a letter of recommendation in order to qualify. Hamilton Relay will select one candidate from each of the states where Hamilton is the contracted service provider. The scholarship value is $500.
The Scholarship Application can be emailed to you or come to the College and Career office.
Applications must be received or postmarked by that date. The winner will be determined on or before March 1, 2024.

NTCA - VARIES
The foundation annually awards scholarships to an exceptional group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require sponsorship by an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. Blackfoot Communications is our local sponsor.
FRS has awarded over $1 million in scholarships since its inception; empowering rural students throughout the country to advance their communities with invaluable skill sets and experiences.

The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) annually awards scholarships to graduating high school students for their first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require partnership with an NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible; Blackfoot Communications is a member company. In addition to FRS scholarships, the program includes a number of named scholarship opportunities

Eagle Rock Lodge #19 of Idaho 2025 Scholarship
Requirements:
Applicant must live in the 2nd Masonic District of Idaho. Includes Blackfoot, Shelley, Firth, Idaho Falls, Rigby, Driggs, Victor, St. Anthony, Dubois, Island Park, and surrounding areas.
Applicant must present proof of post-secondary education registration upon receipt of award.
Applicant must be grade 12 or currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
Top 3 applicants will be asked to do an oral presentation before the scholarship committee.

Eastern Idaho State Fair 4H & FFA Scholarship- $1,000
In keeping with its past tradition of supporting outstanding high school seniors, the Eastern Idaho State Fair, in partnership with Butler Amusements, Inc., will again be awarding six (6) $1,000 scholarship to 2025 graduating seniors that were involved in 4-H or FFA participation in three (3) of the last five (5) of the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Must be a 2025 graduate with a 2.5 GPA. This scholarship fund has awarded over $92,000 to deserving college-bound teens since its inception sixteen years ago.
Application is online and fillable. A digital picture must be included. Applications must be typed or completed in blue or black ink.

Farm Bureau - State Scholarship Turned Into Local Office First
Scholarships are available to select individuals of Idaho Farm Bureau families for one year of higher education at an institution of their choice. Over $130,000 was awarded across the state to Idaho Farm Bureau students last year. Scholarships are limited to one per recipient. Complete and return the application to your county Farm Bureau office for verification of membership.
You will need to click on the link below,. It is a fillable form. There will be five awarded in the amount of $3,000 for the Ag Related Field of Study and five awarded in the amount of $2,000 for the Non-Ag Related Field of Study.
RULES:
- All applications must be submitted on the current 2025 application. If submissions are not on
the current year’s application, they will not be accepted.
- All applications must be typed. Any handwritten applications will not be judged.
- Farm Bureau scholarships are limited to one per recipient. -
- The scholarship is available to a member of an Idaho Farm Bureau family for one year of higher
education at an institution of their choice.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
• An official high school or college transcript with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Two current letters of recommendation must accompany all applications.
• A photograph no larger than 5x7 for publication purposes. Please don’t staple the picture to the
application.
• Additional pages can be included if necessary.
• Please do not send applications in folders. Also, note that any incomplete applications
submitted will not be accepted.
APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR STATE SCHOLARSHIPS:
- March 18th by closing time 5:00 pm, to our local office, 700 N. Bridge St. St.
Anthony. Each county is limited to submitting two completed applications to the State,
one in the Ag Related and one in the Non-Ag Related Fields of Study.

2023 Teton Regional Land Trust Michael B. Whitfield Scholarship
The Teton Regional Land Trust created this scholarship in honor of Michael B. Whitfield who helped found the organization in 1990 and served as its Executive Director for 18 years. Michael’s passion for and commitment to land conservation in eastern Idaho has been instrumental in the preservation of key landscapes in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Eligibility
Students must live in the Teton Regional Land Trust service area. Counties include Bonneville, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, Teton County, Idaho and Alta, Wyoming. Candidates must show an intention to pursue a major course of study in college or vocational school in the environmental sciences, biology, ecology, environmental planning or policy, agriculture, or a related field. Applications must be received or postmarked by March 3th 2023. Scholarship funds are open to graduating seniors. The award must be used for undergraduate education.

Fall River Electric Cooperative Scholarship
Over history, Fall River Electric Cooperative has helped hundreds of students gain access to higher education. Scholarships total $2,400 and are paid in increments of $600 annually with applications due in March of each year for the school semester beginning the following fall. Scholarships are available for high school seniors planning to attend college, and to those already enrolled in higher education. Students may apply for any of the four scholarship programs listed below.

Westmark Credit Union Scholarship
Westmark Credit Union is committed to the advancement of education in our communities and for our members. As an expression of this commitment, Westmark will award fifteen $2,500 Scholarships in 2025. These Scholarships will be awarded by established regions. Scholarships are available only to members of Westmark Credit Union who have a minimum of $25 in their Westmark Account. In order to be eligible the following criteria must be met: 2025 High School Graduate Attend a State Accredited or Licensed Post-Secondary School (any state) Use scholarship funds in the Summer or Fall of 2025 (check will be made out to the school listed on the application) GPA of at least 3.50

Valley Wide Cooperative is committed to investing in the future of our member’s communities through education and leadership development.

ISU ROAD SCHOLARSHIP
Many Fremont County Students who have applied to this scholarship have received it. They are awarded in-person at each years school awards assembly.
Requirements:
Registered ISU Student with access to BOSS (Bengal Online Scholarship System)
Graduate of Southeast Idaho High School and Idaho Resident
Minimum 2.0 GPA with Preference to 2.5 GPA and above.
Attend ISU Full-time in upcoming Fall Semester as a new incoming Freshman.

Frontier Credit Union
Every year Frontier Credit Union gives out scholarships to hard working students in our community. The purpose of the East Idaho Credit Union scholarship program is one $2500 and ten $1,000 scholarships to Frontier Credit Union members to aid them in their pursuit of higher education.
Eligibility
Must be a member of Frontier Credit Union with an account in your name
Must provide verification of acceptance to school before scholarship funds are disbursed
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater
Must be a graduating high school senior and plan to attend an accredited college, university or technical school in the United States as a full-time student (Funds can be held if student is planning a gap year or service opportunity before enrolling in college).

Blackfoot Communications 2025 Scholarship
Blackfoot is again offering academic and trade school scholarships. Graduating seniors/applicant’s parents/guardians must be current Blackfoot residential customers located within Montana/ Idaho rural service areas. Scholarship awards may be awarded from $1,000, up to $2,500. Winners will be announced in mid-April 2025..

Beehive Credit Union Scholarship-
Service Award consideration will be given to eligible students who meet the following criteria, listed in order of importance: Service. Outstanding service to others is the most important factor in determining who receives the service award. Financial Need. Financial need is taken into account as we wish to give assistance to students who seek to further their education, but need help funding such a goal. Academics. Your scholastic performance will be considered, but does not weigh as heavily in the decision-making process as the other two factors. Disbursement. Student must be enrolled during school year in which award proceeds are given. * Student needs to be a primary account holder at Beehive for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible.

This is an ag-related scholarship through Farm Bureau. Applications need to be submitted to the local Farm Bureau Agency. Must be a member of Farm Bureau.

South Fremont Education Foundation (SFEF)- Amount varies
The South Fremont Education Foundation (SFEF) is a general scholarship application that allows you to apply for multiple scholarships within one application process.
Eligibility
All scholarships excluding the ones below are eligible for all Seniors graduating from South Fremont High School.
Venna Welker Secrist- Must be attending a trade or technical school post high school.
Ruth Adamson EMS Foreign Language- Must have 2 yrs foreign language and at least a 3.0 GPA.
Neil and Lana Kunz- Must be going into any healthcare related field medical or dental.

Bruce & Patti Crapo Scholarship Fund
The Bruce and Patti Crapo Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 as a way for them to give back to the community and help promote learning and education. Bruce and Patti have a great love for South Fremont High School and the community of St. Anthony. Their hope is that this scholarship will help others to realize their educational dreams.
Deadline- Third Monday in April
Fremont County Fraternal Order of Police Public Service Scholarship
One-page minimum to three-page maximum essay. Meant for North Fremont and South Fremont graduating seniors.
Two $500 scholarships given out.

Sherri Lynn Crumley Memorial Scholarship**WATCH FOR UPDATES
This $1,000 scholarship is in memory of Sherri Lynn Crumley and will be awarded to a music student from Eastern Idaho planning to enroll at the University of Idaho with the purpose of obtaining a degree from the School of Music or Music Education. The award will be based on (1) Academic Accomplishments, (2) Financial Need, (3) Musical Accomplishments, (4) Musical Goals, (5) Overall Participation in School Activities, and (6) Community Service.

South Fremont High School Scholarship Packet- Amount varies
Organizations such as the St. Anthony Rotary Club and The Currie Family Endowment Fund, as well as School Departments and Alumni Classes generously donate money for scholarships. Each organization will consider your application based on their criteria; however, generally recipients are based on financial need and academic achievement.
In order to save you time, your original application (or one of the additional copies which you submit) will be made available to each organization for scholarship consideration.
ELIGIBIBLITY
Applicants must be a South Fremont High School senior in good standing.
Must be accepted as a full-time student, using the scholarship money during the 2022-23 academic year at the college or technical school of their choice.

Spirit of South Fremont Scholarship- Jana Poulsen Memorial- $200
Jana was a graduate of South Fremont in 1974 and passed away suddenly September 1, 2014. She was a cheerleader in high school and loved her school. Her love of South Fremont never diminished. She was the cheerleading advisor and substitute taught for years at the high school. Many thought of her as their second mom! She supported her children and grandchildren at every event they participated in from early elementary years to high school and beyond. She was proud to be a South Fremont Cougar and was everyone’s cheerleader! She loved South Fremont and anyone that met her knew she was full of South Fremont spirit her whole life! This scholarship is offered through generous donations of family and friends of Jana Poulsen.

2025 Grand Peaks Scholarship-$1500
Grand Peaks is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in both Rexburg and St. Anthony. An FQHC is a community-based organization that provides comprehensive primary care and preventive care, including health, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. Grand Peaks would love to see students grasp the vision of helping underserved communities and see that all people are deserving of quality healthcare. All applicants for the Grand Peaks Scholarship are future students seeking to be in healthcare and will receive a 1-time $1,500.00 scholarship.
Students who are seeking to be in healthcare should apply by completing application and required essays.
The scholarship is a one-time scholarship.
