Lincoln Award

The Lincoln Award is given to the book from that year's master list that earns the highest number of student votes. There are 20 books on the list, which includes Fiction, Non-fiction and Graphic Novels. Students who read four or more books and complete a Lincoln Award Book Report will be invited to participate in a statewide vote for their favorite book in March!

Named after former President Abraham Lincoln, an avid reader and noted author, the Lincoln Award is sponsored by ISLMA (Illinois School Library Media Association) and administered by the steering committee.
