Sept. 15th (tentative) - Jazz band begins at 7 am. We meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.Any student who is in the band and interested in playing in the jazz band should plan to attend the jazz band on Sept. 12th.
The Jazz Band is comprised of traditional instruments used in a modern-day jazz band. To be admitted into the RMS Jazz Band, interested members must be members of the Concert Band. However, there may be a provisional status granted by the director. This fun ensemble will perform as much as possible during the school year. The Jazz Band Select will rehearse Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 am until 7:40 am unless otherwise notified. Jazz band members will need a ride to the early morning rehearsals, as a bus will not be provided.
