Virtual Scrubs Camp - Organ Attack

Overview

Organ Attack (Grades 6-8) includes the entire class in a fast pace, card game where players attempt to take out their opponents' organs to win the game. Our expansion then takes aspects of the game and has students work in partners to research specific body systems and the professionals that care for their well-being. This activity will need a minimum of 2 to 3 class periods based on your students' ability.

The rubric in this folder can be replaced by one of your own design or preference.

Preparation

Look through the documents in this folder to get a better idea of how the game and project work together. This helps you get familiar with both the content of the game and the project.
Print out enough Data Sheets for every student to have one. Print out several copies of the project checklist located in the rubric document.
If needed, partner up students. Two (2) is ideal but three (3) can be done if you have an odd number of kids.
