Expectations

In Person Instruction Expectations

1. Abide by the Nathan Hale Elementary School Expectations & Procedures at all times. Be respectful, be responsible, and be safe.

2. Follow all directions given by your teacher or other adult in charge.

3. No food, gum or drinks will be allowed near the laptops at any time.

4. Show respect for all equipment, adults and students.

5. Raise your hand if you need help and quietly wait your turn for help.

6. Level zero voices when instructions are given. Level one voices when working on projects.

Consequences

· Verbal praise

· Free time on approved sites, extra time as a class

· Reminder of expectation (first offense)

· Verbal warning private conference with technology and/or classroom teacher (second offense)

· Loss of laptop or computer privilege for the day (if repeated, for the week)

· Parent notification

· Formal conference with parent and teacher

If you deliberately damage technology equipment, then you will be suspended from the laptop or computer use until a parent meeting is held.

Deliberate and/or malicious treatment of the technology equipment is a serious violation of the rules. The full consequence will be decided on a

case by case basis by the teacher and the principal.
