Classroom Rules and Expectations

As a teacher, it is not only my responsibility to educate content, but to also educate on good morals and what it will eventually take to be an altruistic and productive citizen in our society. The foundation for this all begins in the classroom and at home.

My classroom rules and expectations are short and sweet but will require all students to adhere to them day in and day out to run a successful class period each day.

My classroom rules and expectations goes as follows:

1. Treat each other as you would want to be treated.

2. Technology will not be allowed in the classroom (as deemed by Indiana State Law0

3. Only speak when provided the opportunity to speak.

4. Follow instructions when given the first time.

5. Follow the student handbook's code of conduct.

6. Students will participate in class discussion, partner & group activities, as well as projects. There will be weekly participation points.

7. Students will arrive to class on time, be ready for class when the bell rings, and be present.
