My name is Mrs. Janelle Turner and I am a new teacher here at Whiting Middle School. As an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher, my goal is to help students become critical readers who use language to effectively communicate their ideas and opinions to others. About me
Being an educator is important to me because I believe it is crucial for young adults transitioning into the "real world" to be equipped with the tools they need to be successful.
The members of my family include one husband, three sons, and a lovely doggie, Koda. I graduated from Purdue University Northwest May 2023.
