Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and human behaviour. Psychologists observe and conduct experiments to find out more about the way people act and interact. They try to understand what motivates, challenges or changes us and use this understanding to help us tackle personal and social problems.

Assessment Structure
Assessment Structure
The assessment structure is split into three parts:
Assessment objective 1 (AO1): This assesses whether the pupil is able to: define, outline, describe or explain a theory or study.
Assessment objective 2 (AO2): This assesses whether the pupil is able to apply the theory or study to a relevant source or example.
Assessment objective 3 (AO3): This assesses whether the pupil is able to evaluate the theory or study by considering the strengths and weaknesses.
