Riley Silos is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter whose life has been shaped by three enduring passions: music, film, and sport. His story is anything but ordinary. Raised in the high-stakes world of elite athletics, Riley spent a decade competing at the top levels of youth ice hockey with the Jr. Kings AAA and Jr. Ducks AAA, two of the top five programs in the U.S. He traveled across North America, developing under the mentorship of NHL veterans and Hall of Famers including Nelson Emerson, Rob Blake, Craig Johnson, and Scott Niedermayer. By 16, he had earned multiple state, national, and international titles before boldly hanging up his skates to pursue new challenges. Even during his demanding hockey career, Riley craved new experiences. He picked up Olympic-style recurve archery for fun and within months, was competing nationally. In his first year, he earned bronze medals at both the Junior Olympic Archery Development National Indoor Championship and the U.S. National Indoor Championship, along with a gold at the California State Championship. At 14, Riley founded Olympian Films, writing and directing short films that were screened at festivals. Today, he continues to integrate visual storytelling into his music career, producing his own promotional reels, music videos, and live performance content. By 16, he committed fully to music and archery. The discipline forged on the ice carried into these pursuits as he trained for the Youth Olympics and Olympic qualifiers. He later qualified for the Philippine National Archery Team, training under legendary Korean coach Kim Hyung-Tak. Riley competed around the world, captured both national and international titles, and narrowly missed qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics in France. Alongside these achievements, Riley’s passion for music deepened. He studied at the Los Angeles College of Music and credits much of his growth as a songwriter to his mentor and collaborator, the late Mark Spiro. Today, Riley is emerging as a Pop, Funk, Soul, and R&B artist, fronting a dynamic 15-piece band that performs his original songs live. With over 60 fully recorded tracks and new material added weekly, he’s on a mission to release one new song every month. In 2022, while training for archery in the Philippines, Riley was introduced to Kali, also known as Eskrima, a traditional Filipino martial art. What began as curiosity quickly became a new frontier of mastery. Now training with the U.S. National Team, he is the reigning world champion and current world #1, preparing for the 2026 World Championships in Bucharest, Romania and Bonn, Germany. Riley Silos is a rare fusion of artist, athlete, and storyteller, driven by passion, shaped by discipline, and grounded in heart. He brings out the best in those around him, inspiring others through his work ethic, creativity, and human connection.
