SCUSD Financial Aid for the Class of 2023

ATTENTION: You will be filling out the 2023-24 FAFSA or Dream Act Application that opens October 1, 2022.

Do not fill out the 2022-23 application.

All seniors will be filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Whether you plan to attend community college, a trade/vocational school, a four year college or you're not sure, plan to fill out your application beginning October 1. The sooner you apply, the more likely you will be awarded financial aid. The deadline for the Cal Grant is March 2, 2023. Check back here periodically for updated information. Please fill out the 2023-2024 FAFSA/CADAA application.

Fill out the FAFSA if you're a:

Citizen

Legal Permanent Resident

Eligible Non- Citizen (per FAFSA)

T visa holder

To complete the FAFSA, follow these Steps:

1. CREATE FSA ID HERE.

2. START APPLICATION HERE.

3. CREATE WEBGRANTS ACCOUNT HERE. (Need to complete FAFSA first and wait 7-14 days from when you submitted FAFSA).

Fill out the CADAA if you:

Are Undocumented

Have a valid or expired DACA

Are a U Visa holder

Have Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

Don't have a Social Security Number

Have lost DACA status (or never applied for DACA)

To complete the CADAA, follow these Steps:

1.START APPLICATION HERE.

2. CREATE WEBGRANTS ACCOUNT HERE. (Need to complete CADAA first and wait 24-48 hours from when you submitted CADAA).
