Hi Peterson Pirates! I'm Ms. Jenna, your Wellness Coordinator! I'm looking forward to supporting you during your middle school years at Peterson! A little about me...I got my undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz and my Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University. I've been working with children, youth, and families in the education system for over 15 years, and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I enjoy camping, gardening, and spending time with my family.
The Wellness Center is a great place for students to take space, access their coping skills, and maybe learn some new ones! I am someone on campus who is available to check in with students who may be going through a tough time. I can support with problem solving, navigating peer and family relationships, linkage to therapy services, educate about mental health topics, listen judgement free, and much more!
Parents and Families, I am also a resource available to you too :) I can support you in understanding your pre-teen/teen better, link you and/or your family members to therapy services, teach parenting techniques, and provide mental health information and resources.

Hello Peterson!
My name is Ms. Irene. Let me tell you a little about myself, I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work and Pupil Personnel Services Credential from San Jose State University. I was born and raised in San Jose, and have cultural ties to the Muwekma Ohlone region of California.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, youth, and families from diverse backgrounds. Five of those years were dedicated to K-12 education and student mental health & wellness.
In my free time, I enjoy attending music festivals, spending quality time with my two chihuahuas, and exploring new places to visit.
I’m thrilled to support you, your families, and the school’s counseling needs this year!
Hi Peterson, I am Ms. Cecelia, and I am excited to begin my second year with Santa Clara Unified School District, working with middle school students! I recently earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and love working with middle school students during such an important and exciting stage of life. I enjoy helping students navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
I grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania and am a huge Philly sports fan. When I’m not at school, you can probably find me watching a game, exploring new coffee shops, or visiting new places.
I’m here to listen, support problem-solving, and help students and families access resources to feel their best at school. I’m looking forward to a great year with the Peterson community!
My name is Mari Radonich, and I am excited to be part of the Wellness Team this school year. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from San Jose State University, where I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work along with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPSC) credential.
I was born and raised in Perú and moved to the United States after completing my first career in Hospitality. Caring for and supporting others has always been at the heart of what I do. I have worked as a Special Education aide for several years and as a medical interpreter for more than 15 years.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and traveling.
I look forward to working alongside students and families at Peterson Middle School.
