WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County. WEAVE’s mission is to promote safe and healthy relationships and support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking. WEAVE’s vision is a community free of violence and abuse.
We offer outreach presentations to schools, teen groups, faith groups, businesses, neighborhood groups, law enforcement, healthcare professionals and any other interested parties in Sacramento County.
At Hiram Johnson, there is an embedded advocate and educator who is meant to be your main resource for getting connected to WEAVE Services as well as getting information about teen dating violence, healthy relationships, consent, flirting vs. harassment, youth trafficking and so much more.
Aleena is your campus advocate. She is the Campus Violence Prevention Specialist for WEAVE, Sacramento's local rape crisis center and domestic violence shelter. Her role on campus is to advocate for, support and educate students, faculty, staff and parents at Will C. Wood. She is your confidential resource on campus to ask questions about WEAVE services, healthy relationships and consent.
