MS. ROWE

Hi, I’m Ms. Rowe! I was born and raised in Sonoma & Marin County. After high school, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development/Psychology with a focus in history and education from UC Davis. Next, I spent two years earning my teaching credential in history and English along with my Master’s Degree in Education from Dominican University of California, located in San Rafael. 

This year marks my 6th year as a teacher…and 6th year at Umoja. I mostly teach high school Individuals & Societies (Year 5, DP 1, and DP 2), but I have also spent a few years teaching 7th grade (Year 2) Lang & Lit. This year I get to teach all four! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, Legos, long walks, video games, being with family, and karaoke! I live in Sacramento with my partner and two cats, Pepper and Roxie.
