Mrs. Ly (TK)
Hi, I am Mai Ly, a wife, a mother of two, and a dog lover! I am Judah’s EK teacher with 20 plus years of teaching experience. I love what I do and can never get enough fun with my students. I am all about a hands-on classroom and meeting children where they are. I believe in challenging children when appropriate, but also providing support needed for them to feel success. I want every child to feel important and that they can do it! Parents and volunteers are always welcome in our classroom.
Mrs. Hein
Hi! My name is Holly Hein and I have been teaching for 25 years. This is my 6th year in kindergarten at Theodore Judah.
I ❤️ Kindergarten! My goal is to make school and learning fun for your child. I get excited when teaching new concepts to my class, and they get excited, too! We sing, we dance, and we have fun learning. I also love having volunteers in my class, so I hope you'll consider helping out!
When I am not teaching, I am driving and chasing my own four kids - three teens and a pre-teen 🤪! My kids love soccer, dance, and staying busy. In between games, I like to walk, listen to audible books, and do my nails!
Mrs. Waldron
Hi! My name is Mrs. Nikki Waldron. I have been fortunate enough that I have been teaching at TJ for 24 years. I love being a kindergarten teacher. I love making connections with my students through reading, math, art, investigating, singing, and more. I look forward to your help. Together we will make kindergarten fun and an exciting place your child looks forward to each day.
When I am not at TJ, I am a wife, and mother of two teenage boys and our dog. Our family loves to fish, camp, listen to music, cook, and play sports. Most of all, we love being together and making each other laugh.
I look forward to another year at TJ with bright new smiles and eager little minds. I ❤️ Kindergarten.
Mrs. Wong
Hello! My name is Mrs. Claudia Wong! I bring 20 plus years experience in teaching primary grades, all in SCUSD. I love to teach STEAM and connecting art with literature. The thing that brings me joy is seeing a student's face light up when they understand a concept. I strive to make learning engaging, meaningful, and purposeful. Learning in kindergarten creates a lifelong learner. Parent volunteers are welcome and I am always looking for guest speakers and presenters.
During my off time I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to travel, play sports, and learn new skills. You will always find me cheering on my kids on the field or court.
