In my classroom we utilize the Montessori Approach to geography which utilizes a hands-on learning experience which promotes independence and exploration. This method is both engaging and effective in fostering a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around us. 

Our students are introduced to geography through various tactile and visual experiences that include handling globes, tracing maps, completing puzzles. These hands-on experiences allow our students to grasp abstract concepts in a concrete manner.

  As a teacher utilizing the Montessori Approach, I provide our students with visual demonstrations of the works in the classroom. Students are encouraged to ask questions and ask for assistance when they need it.
