Steps to apply to College:
Complete NC Residency Form (see link below).
Use NC Residency I.D. and info from parents/guardians to complete the FAFSA (see link below).
Complete a college application on the Common Application website (see link below).
Add your Recommender(s) - teacher(s), counselor, principal.
Follow up with those that need to submit materials to your schools.
Tips:
Share your required essay responses (depending on the college requirements) with trusted adults to proof read before uploading.
Pay close attention to varying dates by college for early decision vs. regular and/or rolling.
Update and share your resume with those you have asked to write recommendation letters for you.
