We use a Balanced Literacy approach to teach reading. This helps us meet every child's needs. We use the Fundations Program to teach phonics. Your child will learn how to identify letters and sounds. He/she will learn how to read sight words, cvc words, and stories this year.

Your child will learn how to write narrative, informational, and persuasive stories this year. 

We use enVision Math in Kindergarten. Your child will learn how to identify numbers, identify 2D/3D shapes, add, subtract, problem solve and much more.

Your child will learn about school rules, dental health, fire safety, plants, animals and much more.

Your child will learn about rules, citizenship, responsibility, transportation, basic needs and much more. 

We use the Heggerty program. Your child will learn about rhyming, substituting and adding sounds, segmenting words and much more.
