Hello, I am Mrs. myers!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year.  I will be your child’s Language Arts/Social Studies teacher, and I am very excited to begin my tenth year of teaching. I want to create an engaging and inviting learning environment for each and every student that enters my classroom. My number one goal is for each student to develop a passion and excitement for learning.  I believe that this passion and excitement begin with positive rapport. It is my highest priority to create a positive rapport and relationship with every student. I expect every student to do his/her personal best and produce quality work.  I want to help each student make good choices, show respect for himself or herself and others, and accept responsibility for his/her actions.  

I would like to tell you a little about myself and educational background.  I am a graduate of  Bowling Green State University, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education with a focus of Language Arts and Social Studies. I then furthered my education and obtained my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. I enjoy teaching so much and it has been my passion since I was a child. Being able to do what I love everyday, and making a difference in the lives of children is my biggest accomplishment in my life thus far. I am so humbled and honored to be able to have the pleasure of teaching your student this year for 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies.
