Daily Assignments


  • 8/12/19--Students completed writing assignment..."Who is your favorite person from History?"...we discussed the grading system...we logged onto our classroom computers...Students need to finish survey
  • 8/14/19--Use page 8 and 9 to answer 6 questions...begin on chapter vocabulary...make sure to finish survey (grade)
  • 8/15/19--We discussed questions 1--6 about pages 8 and 9. Students answered quesitons 1--11 from pages 10 and 11. Color the regions of the map p 12
  • 8/16/19--Students were given time to finish all weekly work (Ch. 1 vocabulary, Regions map, Survey, Questions). We discussed vocabulary pointing out the first 5 which will be on quiz. Have a Great Weekend!!!!
  • 8/19/19--Students need to study the seven regions for a map quiz tomorrow. Complete questions 1--12 on pages 12 and 13.
  • 8/21/19--Students need to study the NE Map region (9 states/4 cities). They can use the copy in their notebook or page 14 of textbook. Complete questions 1--9.
  • 8/22/19--We completed latitude/longitude worksheet. There will be a quiz on this tomorrow. Students completed the northeast map quiz for a grade.
  • 8/23/19--Students completed Latitude/Longitude quiz. Students labeled the southeast map from p. 16 and answered questions from p. 16 and 17.
  • 8/27/19--Study the 16 SE states and 4 SE cities for a map quiz tomorrow.
  • 8/28/19--Students took a quiz on the SE states and cities. Use page 18 to label Midwest Map (practice your song). Read p. 18/19 of the book and answer 6 questions. Read 6 Midwest articles and write 2 complete sentences about what you learned for each article.
  • 8/30/19--Students labeled maps for the Rocky Mountain, Pacific, Southwest, and Noncontigious regions. Students read Pages 20--25 and answered 24 questions. No homework...we will finish in class Tuesday.
  • 9/3/19--Map quiz on RM, P, and SW regions will be tomorrow. Finish all questions covering the regions. Questions will be checked for effort.
  • 9/4/19--Students need to study all 7 regions, 50 states, and 19 cities for Unit Test tomorrow.
  • 9/6/19--We started a new unit on RECONSTRUCTION...read page 34 and 35 and complete 13 questions
  • 9/9/19--Students read a short story about Abraham Lincoln and answered 9 questions in class for a grade. Students began "Google" research on Lincoln, Lee, and Douglass
  • 9/10/19--We discussed questions 1--13 today...Students had 15 minutes to continue the research on Linconln, Lee, and Douglass...All Research is due tomorrow
  • 9/16/19--Students need to answer all questions on p. 36/37 and complete chart.
  • 9/26/19--Students finished up the writing assignment and began a video (America The Story of Us Heartland). Please answer questions 1--10.
  • 9/30/19--Students need to read pages 46 and 47 and answer all 8 questions.
  • 10/1/19--Students need to read pages 48 and 49 and answer all 7 questions. Complete reproducible 47 worksheet.
