Welcome to Scry & Store ("the App"), a Magic: The Gathering card collection tracker for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App. By downloading or using Scry & Store, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:
Authentication data through Sign in with Google or email/password registration
A username that you choose within the App

We do not collect your real name or any other personal identifiers unless explicitly provided by you.

We collect anonymous usage statistics to help improve the App via Firebase Analytics. This data includes:
Number of cards in your collection
Number of decks you have created
General in-app behavior and feature usage patterns
This usage data is collected anonymously and is not linked to your identity or account.

Provide, maintain, and improve the App
Authenticate your account via Sign in with Google or email/password
Store and sync your collection data securely via Firebase
Analyze anonymous usage trends via Firebase Analytics to improve the user experience

Third-Party Services
Scry & Store integrates with the following third-party services. Each service operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.
4.1 Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase, a platform provided by Google, for account authentication, data storage, and analytics. Firebase may collect and process data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). This includes Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore or Realtime Database for data storage, and Firebase Analytics for usage insights.
4.2 Sign in with Google
We use Google's Sign in with Google service as an authentication option. Google may collect and process data in accordance with their Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
4.3 Scryfall
We use the Scryfall API to retrieve Magic: The Gathering card data, images, and pricing information. Scryfall's data is accessed in accordance with their terms of service. No personal user data is shared with Scryfall. You can review Scryfall's terms at https://scryfall.com/docs/terms.
4.4 TCGPlayer Affiliate Program
Scry & Store participates in the TCGPlayer Affiliate Program. When you click a link to TCGPlayer within the App, TCGPlayer may use cookies or similar tracking to attribute the referral. TCGPlayer may collect data about your interactions on their platform in accordance with their own Privacy Policy (https://www.tcgplayer.com/help/privacy-policy). We do not share your personal information with TCGPlayer.
Data Storage and Security
Your account data and card collection information are stored on Firebase's secure cloud servers to enable sync and backup features. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. If you register with an email and password, your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Limitation of Liability
BY USING SCRY & STORE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We are not liable for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data, including but not limited to card collection data, account information, or any other content stored within the App.
In the event of a data breach, data loss, or security incident — whether caused by technical failure, third-party services, or circumstances beyond our control — the developer of Scry & Store shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials and device.
Your use of the App constitutes your acceptance of this limitation of liability. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
Children's Privacy
Scry & Store is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Request information about what data we hold about you
Opt out of any optional data collection
