Week 1 January 5th-9th
January 5: No School
January 6: Read and sign syllabus. Make sure you have all of your supplies including a sketchbook. These items will be checked as part of your first sketchbook check which normally take place on Mondays but due to the holiday will be on Tuesday this week 1.16. Trim trace and glue "The postman" by Vincent Van Gogh into your sketchbook and begin drawing step 1.
January 7: Make sure the above date is done and continue onto drawing step 2.
January 8: Make sure the above date is done and continue onto drawing step 3.
January 9: Make sure the above date is done and continue onto drawing step 4.

January 13: Start Michelangelo's "David" read over handout and complete drawing step 1. Due1/28

February 7: Work on drawing Frida Kahlo portrait due 2/13, complete drawing in 3 analagous colors,
an analagous color scheme is 3 colors next to each other on the color wheel. IE: blue, blue violet, and violet.

February 19: Add color (teritary colors) violet, green and orange to create shade and texture.
February 20: Add color (secondary colors) violet, green and orange to create shade and texture. You may use darker analagous colors and black for value.
