Week 1 January 6th-10th
January 6: No School
January 7: Read and sign syllabus. Make sure you have all of your supplies including a sketchbook. These items will be checked as part of your first sketchbook check which normally take place on Mondays but due to the holiday will be on Tuesday this week 1.16. Trim trace and glue "The postman" by Vincent Van Gogh into your sketchbook and begin drawing step 1.
January 8: Make sure the above date is done and continue onto drawing step 2.
January 9: Make sure the above date is done and continue onto drawing step 3.

February 20: Add color (teritary colors) violet, green and orange to create shade and texture.
February 21: Add color (secondary colors) violet, green and orange to create shade and texture. You may use darker analagous colors and black for value.

April 14: Due to my absence there will be a class drawing of a mouse that students will use mark making and shading. Give the drawing a title around the edge using framing as the compostional strategy and use three different fonts. The study guide for the test next week is due the day of the test 4.24.
