-Read syllabus with parents and return last page signed tomorrow.
-Read up to page 7 of textbook Introduction to science
Friday August 7th, Homework
-Read "Spontaneous Generation" Answer questions in back page with pencil. Write at least half the page
-Make sure to have you binder tabs labeled for Monday
-Bring Scientific calculator and Pencil, and rest of supplied to class
Monday August 10th
-Make sure you read up to page 25 and take notes in format provided
-Have parents read Goggle handout and have purchased and with you by Monday August 17th
Monday August 17: Pg 84-87 question 1-4
Tuesday August 18th: Finish packet
Wednesday August 19th: Finish worksheets handed out in class and start homework handout. These handouts are also in course reader and are up to page 9 in course reader.
Thursday August 20th: Lesson 3 HW packet (Handed out in class)
-Start reviewing for next week's test (Most likely Friday)
Friday August 21st: Enjoy your weekend and observe science(NO Hw)
Monday August 10th: Read up to page 25 of textbook and take notes in format shown in class
Order and bring goggles by Monday August 17th (HANDOUT PROVIDED IN CLASS)
Tuesday August 11: Read pages 66-71 and answer questions 1-4 on page 71, order goggles.
Read pages 36-41 and answer questions 1-7 on page 41
Wednesday August 12:
-Read pages 36-41 in textbook and answer questions #1-7 on page 41
- Make sure you have all your supplies in class everyday including your notebook with tabs and textbook.
-Make sure you're caught up on all reading
-Make sure you have goggles by Monday 8/17 (Form hand out has all the requirments)
Thursday August 13th:
-Return safety contract signed by both you and parents. Make sure you keep the binder one and only return the one labeled "Return to teacher"
-Goggles for Monday 8/17
-Lab notebook by friday 8/14
Friday August 14th:
-Review Periodic Table of elements sheet
-Don't forget Lab notebook and Goggles for Monday
Monday August 24th:
-Work on study guide
-Read pages 25-36
-Homework Work on both pages of worksheets
Tuesday August 25th:
-Do chapter review questions on 58-59 all of them on binder paper
-Reading should be caught up to page 58
-Continue working on Study guide for test
Wednesday August 26th: Course reader pages 16-21 read and answer any questions.
Thursday August 27th: Course reader pages 22-29 read and answer questions.
Friday August 28th: Work on study guides for test also list 5 new things you learned from study guide.
Monday August 31st: Study for exam
Tuesday September 1st: Bring lab notebook
Wednesday September 2: Read pages 34-36 in course reader. Answer questions on page 33.
Thursday September 3rd: Study and take notes on pages 30-36 of course reader.
Also remeber to bring in purple textbook to turn in.
Tuesday, September 8th: Read Pages 2-9 in textbook, Do all the questions on page 9.
Wednesday, September 9th: Read pages 10-15, do all questions on page 15 and take notes
Thursday, September 10th: Finish packet and study for quiz.
Friday, Septembr 11: Math focus in textbook Pg 13, questions 1-3.
Monday, September 14: Read textbook Pg. 16-21, Do all questions on page 21
