Participation Grade – Exam Expectations

Your participation grade for last week and this week will be based on being prepared, focused, and respectful during the exam period.

To receive full participation points, you are expected to:

• Come to class ready and prepared for the exam. This includes having your own dictionary and book with you every day.

• Follow all directions given by the teacher.

• Remain silent during testing unless you are speaking directly with the teacher.

• Avoid any behavior that disrupts the testing environment or distracts other students.

• Remain focused on your own work and respect your classmates’ testing time.

Point Deductions:
5 participation points will be deducted each time a student does not follow one of the expectations above. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Talking during the exam.

• Being disruptive or distracting other students.

• Not following teacher directions.

• Coming to class without the required materials (book and dictionary).

• Engaging in behavior that interferes with a quiet and focused testing environment.

Each occurrence will result in a separate 5-point deduction.

These expectations are in place to maintain a quiet, respectful, and fair testing environment for everyone.
