Meadows & Math
Mrs. Crystal Meadows
This is my fifteenth year as a math teacher at Twin Springs High School. I currently teach Geometry, Math Analysis, and Math Analysis. Dual Enrollment. I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Algebra Functions & Data Analysis, Discrete Math, Trigonometry DE, Calculus and Probability/Statistics as well. My favorite subject to teach is Geometry. I am a Prom sponsor for the Junior class.
Education
I graduated as Valedictorian from Twin Springs High School in 2004. I was Class President and voted by my senior class as Most Dependable. I was an AIM Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and FCCLA. I participated in volleyball and cheerleading. I was also a member of the academic team.
I started college during the fall of 2004 at the University of Virginia's College at Wise. I majored in Mathematics and minored in Education. While at college, I was involved in Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Intramural sports, Omicron Delta Kappa, Sigma Zeta Alpha, and the Darden Society. I graduated as Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Science degree in the spring of 2007.
I started my master's degree in the fall of 2007 at East Tennessee State University. Originally, I was going to obtain a master's degree in mathematics. However, I decided to go with the MAT program (Master of Arts in Teaching) . This program was designed for those wanting to teach secondary education. In particular, I studied secondary education in mathematics. While studying at ETSU, I worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Financial Aid. I graduated with my master's degree in the spring of 2009.
My first job offer came from Scott County Public Schools in 2009 and I was assigned to Twin Springs High School. I was so excited to be returning to my former high school. My experience at TSHS as both a student and teacher has been great and I hope this place is my forever home.
Family
I have a beautiful ten year old daughter, Kadence. She is in the 5th grade and participates in dance and gymnastics. She is smart, sassy, stubborn, and strong-willed. She definitely keeps us on our toes. We also have a sixteen year old yorkie named Daisy.

I am a Thirty One Independent Consultant. I joined Thirty One a little over three years ago. I already had a love for the products. Along the way, I have discovered that Thirty One is so much more than a bag. It's a sisterhood. Thirty One celebrates, encourages, and rewards women and I love that!
