Hi there! I have been in education for 18 years. I graduated from Georgetown College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in History with an emphasis in Secondary Education. During my student teaching, the department awarded me with the Outstanding Secondary Student Teacher Award. I earned my Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgetown College in 2012 and my Rank I in Library Science at Murray State University.
Fourteen years of my teaching experience are all at Royal Spring Middle School in Scott County. I have experience with grades 6-8 in a social studies classroom and teaching a college and career readiness course.
I am currently the school librarian at Stamping Ground Elementary, also in Scott County. I live on a farm in Stamping Ground with my husband of 15 years and our daughter, Annaleigh.
