• Open 7:50-3:00 M-F

• As a part of their specials rotation, each grade level will visit the library for 50 minutes every three days

• Each class will follow BUFFS expectations.

• Students will be engaged in read-alouds and activities in each class.

• Students are expected to bring their library book to each class, but the opportunity to check out will be offered every other visit.

Purpose:
Support students' educational and recreational needs.

Selection Criteria:
Materials are chosen for relevance, quality, diversity, and age appropriateness.

Materials:
Includes books, magazines, digital resources, and multimedia.

Selection Responsibility:
The librarian selects materials with input from teachers, students, and the community.

Weeding and Donations:
Outdated or damaged items are removed. Donations are accepted if they meet selection criteria.

Concerns:
A formal process is available for reconsidering materials.

Review:
Policy is reviewed annually.
