How to help the GMS YSC

Looking for a way to support the GMS YSC? The GMS YSC is always in need of donations and assistance. There are a variety of ways our school families and community can contribute. If you have questions, feel free to contact Nancy Mercado for more information: nancy.mercado@scott.kyschools.us

Clothing

• Gender neutral/unisex clothing; sweats, socks, M T-shirts, etc.

• Gently used or new shoes: sizes Y4-7, W8-9.5, M7-10

Food Items

• Snacks (granola, cheese/pb crackers, chips, etc.)

• Water bottles or bottles of water

School Supplies

• All sorts of schools supplies are great!

Miscellaneous 

• Laundry Supplies: detergent, fabric softener, fabric sheets, stain remover

• All hygiene supplies are great! (lotion, hair brushes, deodorant, etc.)

Monetary Donations

• Gas Cards

• Gift cards to purchase specific items, sizes, etc.

• Sponsorships for ongoing programming; Laundry Day, Safe Sitters, Summer Enrichment, etc.

Volunteers

• We are always looking for volunteers for career speakers on Fridays from 8a-3:30p.

• We would love to have you sign up to deliver or donate a meal for laundry days, you can reach out to Nancy.Mercado@scott.kyschools.us to sign up!

• We are looking for community resources/partners to set up during laundry day events to talk about community resources.
