Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC) were created as a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act, or KERA, in 1990. All centers are funded through the state in the form of a grant. The main purpose of the centers is to enhance students' abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote early learning and successful transition into school, academic achievement, and graduation and transition into adult life.Â
The Georgetown Middle School Youth Service Center is available to all students and their families. The Youth Service Center is located in the front of Georgetown Middle School in room 269, whereas the office is located in room 288. Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.
