The Elkhorn Family Resource Center is here to serve all families of Eastern Elementary and Garth Elementary. FRC Staff work with students and families to meet needs that affect the learning process in the classroom. This is done by providing services in the school and by linking families to agencies in the community. Our main office is located in Garth Elementary with another office in Eastern Elementary.
Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC) were created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act, or KERA, in 1990 and are funded by money from the State in the form of a grant. The purpose of the Centers is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote early learning and successful transition into school, academic achievement, and graduation and transition into adult life.
Your family situation will always remain confidential. While we may not be able to offer assistance in every area, we will do our best to refer you to someone who can.
