Resource Center
The AME/NE Family Resource Center services both Anne Mason Elementary and Northern Elementary students and families. Our main office is located at Anne Mason Elementary with a secondary part time location at Northern Elementary.
The FRC staff works with students and families within the school to meet the needs that affect the learning process or assist with any difficulty hindering the education process with resources and community partnerships.
Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC) were created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act, or KERA, in 1990 and are funded by money from the State in the form of a grant. The purpose of the Centers is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote early learning and successful transition into school, academic achievement, and graduation and transition into adult life.
All communication and assistance between the FRC staff and families is confidential. While some situations arise that are out of your control, we will try our best to assist you or refer you to an agency that can.
