Project aims at increasing of the reading literacy using IT tools, awareness of forest importance regarding ecology, flora and fauna.

1) Increase awareness of students of tree importance, its role in ecosystems, environmental protection. Planting a tree as a common product.
2) Increase and practice reading comprehension using modern technologies.
3) Use as much of digital technologies as possible, increase internet safety awareness.
4) Use curricular biology topics related to ecology, forest as a biome, plants and animals corresponding to age of particular students.
5) Use multi-subject approach during the course.
Work Process:
We intend to work together using FB group, WhatsApp group to brainstorm, share ideas and plan activities. All tasks and responsibilities should be spread evenly. All tasks will be based on monthly set of tasks, we would like all the pupils to perform tasks according to their age. We intend to form international groups of students working on the different tasks together, meeting via videoconferences. As the project is part of Erasmus + activities, one of the activities would be planting common trees in partner schools.
Timeline:
November – pupils’ introductions, town and country introductions.
December – common reading of the book
January – readers’ literacy tasks related to book
February – ”Trees” – e-book
March – ”Forest” – trees description and Padlet AI paintings
April/May – colaborative story and project meetings
June - final project meeting
Expected results:
A tree planted in each of the partner countries, ebook of forest flora and fauna with importance of forests for our survival.
